Rebecca Suthers

Senior Associate & Chartered Legal Executive

Wills, Trusts & Probate

My Approach

I have more
than 15 years experience in Wills Trusts and Probate work. After
completing my degree I joined the oldest firm of Solicitors in
Stratford-upon-Avon, where I grew up. From there I moved to Co-op Legal
Services and a specialist Estate Administration Company, before relocating to
the South Coast. I joined Ellis Jones in 2015 and have recently been
promoted to Senior Associate.

When advising
clients, my approach is very respectful, efficient, but approachable; I listen
to their concerns and provide advice which takes account of these and other
aspects of their lives, at what can often be one of the most difficult times of
a person’s life.

My experience
and expertise enables me to interpret the law in simple, straightforward terms,
whilst remaining professional at all times.

I regularly work closely with my clients other advisors to
ensure that a rounded solution is offered and delivered.

I am often
thanked by my clients for the approach I take and for removing the complexities
which can make the situation easier to understand.

Reviews

I wanted to thank you very, very sincerely for everything you have done for me regarding my Will.

It is an immense weight off my mind to know that I now have a Will that truly represents my wishes and that protects my children if I cannot. I have destroyed the previous Will written by Alan Edge of Ellis Jones and trust you will do the same.

Words of thanks are so easy to say and so easily written. In Russian we have a powerful expression that we use after saying or writing words to emphasis their genuine sincerity. It’s not easy to translate the meaning or the power of this expression from Russian into English, but I hope you will try to understand and will just pause for a few seconds in your busy schedule.

The translation would simply be:

“I thank you Rebecca for everything you have done for me and for my children and these are not just words”.

Mr Brett

Rebecca dealt with probate after my mother passed away in September 2015. We were very grateful to find that Rebecca had a warm friendly demeanour at a time that was very difficult for us. Rebecca was very professional and efficient in dealing with our case and kept us informed at every stage of a lengthy and complex process. I have no hesitation in recommending her to prospective clients.
