My Approach

My primary role is to assist Richard Tombs, a partner in the Commercial Property department at Canford Cliffs with the day to day workload.

I have a friendly approach and deal with clients both over the phone and in person to assist with any queries they may have throughout the transaction. I endeavour to build a trusting relationship with all clients and try to make the whole process less stressful for them.

Areas of Expertise

  • Assisting with residential and commercial property transactions, such as selling, buying, remortgages and transfer of equities, leasing of commercial premises, land sales or purchases and sales of new housing developments
  • Assisting with leasehold transactions, such as lease extensions, deed of variations etc.
  • Dealing with pre-exchange and post completion formalities, to include registration at Companies House, HM Land Registry and dealing with Stamp Duty Land Tax

My Route to Ellis Jones

I began working as an Office Junior for Turners Solicitors in Bournemouth and quickly moved into the residential property department, working for a partner at the time. I began working for Richard Tombs, the Head of Commercial Property at Turners approximately 17 years ago and in April 2018 myself and Richard joined Ellis Jones at the Canford Cliffs Office.
