I consider myself to be a commercially pragmatic lawyer who works with businesses to understand their needs and to provide practical advice and assistance on a wealth of commercial issues. Drafting of contracts (such as confidentiality agreements, introducer agreements, services agreements, reseller agreements, collaboration agreements, terms and conditions, general commercial agreements)
• Advising on shareholder issues / corporate governance
• Drafting shareholder agreements, joint venture agreements, partnership agreements
• Advising on all aspects of data protection law, compliance and drafting all data related policies, processes and contracts (such as privacy notices, data processing agreements, data sharing agreements, hybrid documents
Technology – drafting of tech agreements, SAAS terms, licences, terms of service, technical integration agreements
• Advising on IP strategies – including IP registrations, assignments, disputes and challenges

Recent Work

• Working as senior inhouse counsel for a tech company which included procurement challenges, drafting and advising on software licences, data protection compliance issues including overseas and drafting commercial documents such as technical integration agreements, data agreements and confidentiality agreements
• Successfully acted in shareholder disputes and director’s misconduct disputes of recent
• Successfully acted in the reported case of Kynixa Limited v Hynes and others (2008) EWHC 1646
• Working on a data protection audit and advising on strategy following the outcome of that audit
• Drafting key commercial documents for businesses and providing professional support
• Settled IP disputes
