My primary focus is on securing quick and suitable treatment for clients as well fair compensation for their injuries and to ensure any future treatment needs and losses are met.

Recent Work

• Acting for a lady who had sustained a severe lower leg fracture while on holiday in Greece. I was able to secure the jurisdiction of the English courts prior to Brexit and ultimately recovered a six-figure sum for her.
• Acting for a lady who sustained an ankle fracture while on a boat ride at a theme park in the Netherlands. Again, the jurisdiction of the English court was established prior to Brexit, and I was able to secure early interim payments to cover rehabilitation and surgery in the UK and eventually a settlement for the client.
• Securing a substantial saving for an insurer client in proceedings brought against their insured for damage to a highway. I was able to work closely with a quantity surveyor and obtained expert evidence that the actual costs of the repairs were substantially lower than had been pleaded, in addition there were serious delays in carrying out the work which had led to additional unrelated damage being claimed.
• Securing a settlement for a gentleman injured in a collision with a Polish skier in France. The matter involved interesting issues of applicable law and jurisdiction. I was eventually able to secure compensation for the client after issuing proceedings against the Polish insurer and serving on their head office in Warsaw.
