Joshua Bentley is a Trainee Solicitor in the Dispute Resolution team, supporting solicitors through legal research, drafting and stakeholder liaison with a pragmatic and personable approach. With a strong background in fintech and financial markets alongside advanced legal qualifications, he brings valuable commercial insight to complex dispute resolution work.

 

My Approach

My primary role is to assist the Dispute Resolution department in their delivery of exceptional advice to clients. On a day-to-day basis, I conduct legal research, draft documentation and liaise with appropriate stakeholders. I adopt a pragmatic approach that is both personable and highly considerate of the specific matter at hand.

Area of Expertise

My current seat is in the Dispute Resolution department.

Recent Work

I have nine years of experience in commercial strategy within the fintech, derivative trading and retail investment market. My key area of expertise is the brokerage of execution-only OTC derivatives. I previously co-founded a SaaS-based research platform that provides industry intelligence and market data to CFD/FX brokerages. The platform is trusted by market participants globally, including a FTSE 250 listed company and the world’s largest social trading platform.
