As an external party to your debt dispute, our team of expert debt solicitors can adopt a pragmatic approach towards the dispute to assist with its resolution as quickly and easily as possible, giving you peace of mind and confidence your case is in the hands of professionals.

Debt recovery advice and guidance

We can take away the stress of dealing with the dispute yourself to help put your mind at ease, and will step up the pressure on your debtor where it may be difficult or inappropriate for you to do so yourself. We can also provide valuable legal advice on where you stand in respect of the debts you dispute that you owe.

Our debt recovery solicitors offer a full-cycle service, including both the personal and commercial debt recovery process covering everything from initial letters of claim right through to the conclusion of court hearings and enforcement proceedings.

You will retain control of each step of the matter and we will not take any step which will incur a cost to you without your consent. The costs of each step are kept to a minimum and in certain cases, these costs are recoverable from the debtor as part of repaying your debt.

One of the most common, if not the most common examples of debt recovery are CCJ (County Court Judgements), which occurs when someone takes court action against you, usually relating to debt and money owed, and you do not respond.

These types of debts can be detrimental to your credit and differ depending on things like type of debt, creditors, the amount owed and more, usually lasting up to six years on your record.
