The Chambers & Partners guides feature professional advisers and recommended industry experts. They rank top law firms and lawyers across 180 jurisdictions throughout the world.
This year our Family department have moved into ‘Band 1’- the top band- with the department being hailed as a “real force to be reckoned with”. The team is known for their impressive full service offering advice on children-related disputes.
Deborah Leask, Partner, has been ranked in Band 2 and praised as an “extremely experienced” lawyer, standing out for her “excellent client care skills”. Sean McNally, Partner, has also been ranked in Band 2 with a “fantastic manner with clients” and being “absolutely unflappable”.
Our specialist Family department have recently launched a new Fertility service providing legal advice to those creating families through surrogacy, donor conception and IVF.

The Legal 500 has been established for the last 29 years, aiming to provide the most current directory for the global legal market.
This year’s results have seen our firm recommended across: Business Services, Commercial Litigation, Contentious Trusts and Probate, Family, HR/Employment and Wills, Trusts & Probate/Court of Protection.
Our Business Services team have been ranked into tier 3 and noted as providing “very sensible advice at a good price”. For this sector Neil Cook, Hugh Craig and Kate Brooks have been recognised for their work, with Neil Cook praised for having “a good commercial background”.
Commercial Litigation has been ranked tier 2 as “the most experienced firm in the area for complex banking litigation”. Partner and Head of Banking and Finance, William Fox Bregman has been recommended as a leading individual and is “a highly
respected practitioner in claims against banks”. Lauren Day, Carl Arreghini and Victoria Riddleston have also been recognised.Paul Kanolik was rated for his ‘uncanny ability to achieve the best settlement available’ in banking disputes.
The Contentious Trusts and Probate team are now in tier 2 as “a leading firm in the region, with a particularly strong department in this area”.
