Legal Advice relation to Children
Our solicitors have extensive knowledge and expertise in providing legal advice in respect of all legal matters involving children. Our approach is to focus on the needs of the children and work with parents to avoid Court proceedings where possible.
It is preferable to resolve matters without the input of the Courts and parents are encouraged to explore alternative ways to resolve their differences, including Mediation and Collaborative Law.
If parents are not able to make arrangements for the children through one of these alternative methods, the Court can make one or more Orders to determine childcare arrangements. Where agreement cannot be reached or a situation requires the immediate intervention of the Court, our solicitors have a proven track record in dealing with the most urgent of cases.
Separation is bound to have a huge impact on your children, and it is therefore important to consider issues such as who the children will live with and how much time they will spend with each parent at an early stage.
