All aboard the Ellis Jones boat party

Enjoying the sunshine

We welcomed our staff aboard the Coastal Cruises Fortuna boat from Poole Quay as the sun started to set over the harbour, providing delicious fish & chips and music for everyone to enjoy. We set sail out across the harbour and ventured over to Old Harry Rocks, getting the chance to see this spectacular landmark up close.

Our EJ Wish winners

Our Managing Partner & Head of Dispute Resolution, Lauren Day gave a speech about the latest successes for the firm before announcing our Ellis Jones Wish winners, drawn from a tombola.

Our lucky EJ Wish winners were Admin Assistant, Sam Smith and Personal Injury Legal Executive, James Burrough. The EJ wish is drawn several times throughout the year and the firm contributes £250 towards an experience of the winners’ choosing. In the past staff have booked a weekend away, a spa day or even a sky dive.

Fireworks for the finale

On the return from Old Harry Rocks to Poole Quay, the sun went down as the party got into full swing and everyone enjoyed dancing together to the music. Once we moored at Poole Quay, our staff got to enjoy a spectacular fireworks display with a close up view from the water before the party drew to a close.

Bringing people together

Our social events are key moments throughout the year for our staff to get together from across our different offices and connect. We look forward to everyone getting together again at our Christmas Party later this year.
