Our Ellis Jones Wish Winners

Caroline Hector, a member of our Wills, Trusts and Probate team, and Tom Eyles, a member of our Business Services team, won the Ellis Jones Wish at our Christmas Party back in 2023.

The Ellis Jones Wish is a fantastic opportunity we provide our staff that could win them up to £250 towards an unforgettable experience of their choice. Every quarter staff have the chance to submit their wish in a raffle, which could include a spa break, a trip to the West End or driving a sports car.

Both Caroline and Tom got the chance to book their experiences recently and below is their account of their experiences.

I was absolutely amazed to win the Ellis Jones Wish and couldn’t decide what to do with my prize!  My daughter suggested a spa hotel she had been to and after a very busy Christmas and a new puppy, I decided that this would be perfect and I took my husband along to share the prize!

We visited Bath in the morning for some general sightseeing and some retail therapy and then headed up to Warminster to our hotel.  We arrived in glorious sunshine and after a quick check in wasted no time in enjoying the spa pool and jacuzzi.  I then had two amazing treatments in the spa and felt thoroughly relaxed after and we then enjoyed a walk in the grounds of the hotel.

We then enjoyed a delicious evening meal and felt thoroughly spoilt!  This was a lovely relaxing weekend for us with some much needed R&R, which we both really enjoyed.

Courtesy of my EJ Wish, this month I was fortunate enough to experience my first Skydive, raising money for Muscular Dystrophy UK. Many thanks to all those around the firm who have donated. This proved a phenomenal experience, and I am blown away by the £835 we have managed to raise.
