Prestigious Recognition: Ellis Jones Stands Out in Chambers & Partners 2024
Earlier this month, we received recognition in the Legal 500 directory, a testament to our team's hard work and expertise. Last week, we're equally proud to announce our continued success with the release of the Chambers & Partners 2024 UK Guide results. This acknowledgment underscores our commitment to excellence and the diligent efforts of our team.
The prestigious Chambers UK Legal Guide 2024 has ranked Ellis Jones in two separate practice areas, with three ranked lawyers and two notable practitioners listed.
This year our Family department were listed in ‘Band 2’- with the department being praised as having a
“distinguished and dynamic reputation across the various fields of family law.”
Deborah Leask, Partner, has been ranked in Band 2 and is described as “a highly capable solicitor and dominant in her approach with opponents. She’s very efficient in dealing with clients.” Sean McNally, Partner, has been ranked in Band 3 and recognised to have “a very good grasp of the legal principles that apply to any case. He’s great with clients, he’s very understanding and empathetic.”
Katie Taft, Partner, has been ranked in Band 3 and praised for being “fearless in her approach and is incisive in terms of getting to the heart of the issue. She’s fantastic and effective in her advocacy.”
Our Commercial Litigation team have been ranked in Band 4. The department were recognised for taking:
"a diligent and constructive approach, with good response times and good advice"
as well as being “most attentive to requests and acting without delay.” Lauren Day and William Fox Bregman were noted as key contacts within the department.
