A sporting sensation at the Southern Sporting Clubs lunch

A memorable event

Managing Partner, Nigel Smith and Partners, Lauren Day, Kate Brooks and Neil Cook attended the lunch, along with their guests, at Rick Stein in Poole on Thursday 30th April. The afternoon welcomed over 100 people to enjoy great cuisine and hospitality, with lots of businesses making connections around the room, as well as a raffle and auction.

Winning over the crowd

The event featured a talk from Arsenal Invincible & England legend, Ray Parlour and Kyran Bracken MBE hosted for the afternoon. Kyran Bracken NBE is a world-cup winning former rugby player, entrepreneur and keynote speaker. Ray Parlour is an English former professional footballer and sports radio pundit for BBC Radio 5 Live and Talksport. He was a midfielder from 1992 to 2007, and spent his career playing for Arsenal, Middlesbrough and Hull City.

Networking through sport

The Southern Sporting Clubs connect sport lovers through out the country, hosting a number of business dining events, featuring sporting celebrities, professional guest speakers and entertainers. Their events allow for regular networking opportunities with like-minded business people with the added bonus of renowned sports personalities giving inspirational talks.
