Supporting Poole Netball Club
Co-inciding with International Women's Day, our firm confirmed a new sponsorship to assist Poole Netball Club's success in female sport.
Encouraging women in sport
Poole Netball Club welcomes girls aged six and above to play and compete in netball, with the senior team currently sitting second in Regional League 1, with just a handful of games to play until the end of the season. Their under 14 team recently became South West Champions, securing a place at the England Netball National Championships along with the top 18 teams in the country. Following final fixtures, the under 16s team are also hoping for a place in the national finals.
The club also has a Mini Stars programme for children in school years 1 to 4, providing a fun, friendly and structured environment for young players to develop fundamental movement and ball sport skills.
Poole Netball Club offers a high-performance pathway from grass roots up to elite level competition where passion is nurtured, talent is developed and performance is a shared goal for all. Our new sponsorship aims to support their continued work to encourage women and girls into sport as part of our equality and diversity values at Ellis Jones.
