Christmas activities at Ellis Jones Solicitors

Our Christmas party

EJ staff arrived for reception drinks to a glittering Winter Wonderland themed party, before settling down for a three-course dinner with a magician to entertain them. This was followed by a speech from Managing Partner, Nigel Smith to celebrate the firm’s achievements in 2025.

The Ellis Jones Wish winner was later drawn from names in a hat – congratulations to Lena Rosenbaum! The Ellis Jones Wish enables staff to enter a draw with something they have always wanted to do, and the lucky winners share their experiences with everyone. Previous wishes include sky dives, castle tours, pottery classes and family weekend trips. 

The live music kicked in and the themed photobooth opened up for staff to take festive photos with their co-workers. Everyone had a great time and now to begin the planning for the 2026 Christmas party!

Christmas Jumper Day 2025

Our offices took part in the Save the Children’s Christmas Jumper Day on 11th December to help raise money for children suffering around the world. Our staff also attended team and department Christmas lunches throughout December.

Putting people first

On Monday 22nd December, Jane Wardle did a round to deliver client Christmas gifts, hand delivering them where possible. Where clients were able to receive visitors, Jane spent time with them in person, checking on their wellbeing and sharing a few moments of conversation. Where a visit was not appropriate, gifts were carefully delivered to care homes. What a way to spread the festive cheer!
