Celebrating the achievements of Swanage businesses
On Thursday 9th October, over 60 local business people gathered at the Mowlem Theatre in Swanage for the first Swanage Local Business Awards 2025 to congratulate thriving businesses in the local area.

Danielle Elyse Fordham Parsons and Lena Rosenbaum, from our Swanage office in our Wills, Trusts & Probate department, attended as we sponsored the Best Place to Work category, with Danielle presenting awards to Lynwood Vets (gold award), The Roof Terrace, Restaurant & Bar (gold award) and The Old Stables Delicatessen (silver award). This was the first event of it’s kind in Swanage, welcoming many local organisations to connect.

Guests at the awards ceremony included those shortlisted, the sponsors, and the Town Mayor, Cllr Mike Bonfield. The awards highlight, promote and celebrate the amazing array of independent business in Swanage that make it such an attractive place to live and visit, organised by Marketing West. The overall Business of the Year award, sponsored by ActionCOACH, was won by The Globe Inn, recognised for re vitalising a traditional pub and bringing it to life again.
