David McWilliam, Sports Injury Solicitor, has over 20 years’ experience practicing Personal injury Law and has a wealth of experience in relation to sports injury cases from a business perspective.

This experience includes event management, contracts, sponsorships agreements, charity work and intermediary/agents regulations.

He now sits as an Independent Disciplinary Panel Member at Dorset Football Association dealing with disciplinary hearings and is also a Games Programme Monitor for the English Football League (EFL). He is also a member of the British Association for Sport and Law (BASL).

Within the Sports Law Department, the team have dealt with a wide variety of sporting legal issues to include providing trade mark advice for a professional women’s cricket team, branding and trade mark advice for a number of sport magazines to include drafting shareholders agreements, prepared employment contracts for soccer schools and golf clubs and advised a number of sporting charities. We have also advised County Cricket Clubs on numerous matters to include payer contracts.
