Mediation is a really effective tool which can be used in a variety of situations, bringing people together in a neutral and non-confrontational environment. Our mediators have a wealth of experience of working with modern, non-traditional families, and are here to support you in a constructive and practical way.

Mediated pre-conception planning meetings

We offer a mediated pre-conception planning meeting for people who are planning to co-parent together, or who are planning to conceive with a known sperm donor. As mediators, we will encourage you to discuss important issues about your arrangement, and help you to explore any points of potential conflict. It’s much better to discuss tricky issues before conception, and to identify points of conflict at the early stages, which is why we encourage parties to mediate at the planning stage of their journeys. At the end of the mediation, we will prepare a pre-conception document for you all to sign, reflecting the agreement you have reached.

Mediation for co-parenting and donor conceived families in conflict

We understand the unique dynamics that can lead to conflict within this type of family set-up, and care deeply about helping to resolve disagreement without going to court. We provide you with a neutral space, away from the stresses and busyness of your home environment, to help you focus on your family, and work towards an understanding that you are all comfortable with.

Mediation for surrogacy

We offer mediation for surrogates and intended parents in the event of a conflict arising during a pregnancy, or following the birth. We understand the unique pressures and complex issues people face during surrogacy, and know how quickly disagreements can spiral if they are not dealt with properly.
