MOJO: A Motivated Workforce

At Ellis Jones we believe that our People are our strongest asset, and we strive for a motivated and satisfied workforce.

To help us with this we use MOJO which is a tool we use to monitor motivation levels across the Firm and set actions and goals specifically tailored to each employee to motivate and develop them.

What is MOJO?

The MOJO technology asks simple, yet pertinent questions that generates a unique map to each employee, detailing what areas will boost overall motivation and how this can affect personal performance. MOJO isn’t a personality test, or a psychometric profiling tool, it is a self-perception inventory.

Completing a map takes around 15 minutes and when completing it we ask our people to not over think the questions and answer with their gut. The results will then generate a personalised map, detailing the ranking of their highest to lowest motivators and a knowledge base of how these can be improved and sustained.

How do we use it?

We use this personalised information as a discussion point throughout the year in regular reviews with Line Managers. We ask our People to set tailored goals that are going to motivate and develop them in their careers ahead.

Our People are encouraged to take a new map every quarter so goals and actions can be realigned and adjusted with the ever-changing needs of our workforce.
