Introducing our new Partner, Carla Brown

We have a new addition to our fast growing team of professionals and would like to welcome to the firm, Carla Brown. Appointed as Partner and Head of the Wills, Trusts & Probate department, Carla is now our fifth female partner of fifteen
in total. Carla originally joined Ellis Jones in 2005 but moved to a Hampshire-based law firm between 2005 and 2009.

Not only are we excited for her return, Carla has also brought with her two additional staff members Louise Sutton, Chartered Legal Executive, and Rosemary Drew, Paralegal.

Carla’s area of expertise lies in advising high net-worth clients in the UK on estate planning and their tax position. Preparing complex wills, advising on the establishment & taxation of trusts, as well as powers of attorney are other areas she specialises in.

Carla’s efforts have been recognised in The Legal 500 mentioning her as a leading individual, and in the Chambers and Partners High Net-Worth Guide. Being recommended in either is a significant achievement and we’re very proud to see staff members being recognised.
