Countdown to Ringwood Carnival 2019

The countdown begins to the Ringwood Carnival 2019 as our Ringwood office was paid a visit by the Carnival Queen, Tierney Long, and the Carnival Princesses last month. We strive to actively support the local community and we are proud to once again be a gold sponsor of Ringwood Carnival, after supporting this event for over ten years.

Ringwood saw its very first Carnival in 1928 and has carried on every year since 1950. Today the Carnival is considered Ringwood’s largest and most important annual community event. It consists of two processions, an afternoon children’s procession and an evening illuminated parade, featuring floats designed by local groups, clubs, schools and businesses. The parades feature marching bands, steam traction engines, dance groups and are headed by the Carnival Queen.

The Carnival takes place on Saturday 21st September in Ringwood with two processions starting at 2pm and 7:15pm. There will also be a funfair, street entertainers and live bands throughout the day with a firework display at 9:30pm. To find out more please click here.
