Back to Bayeux Charity Bike Ride

Updated on 04 Jun 2018

On 6th June, I will be catching the Ferry to Cherbourg in France and commencing a charity bike ride covering 400km in 4 days. Myself and 27 other riders together with our trusty support team will be riding each day and camping every night at different campsites.

The charity we are raising money for is The Steve Bernard Foundation. The Foundation is a local charity which was set up in memory of Steve Bernard following his tragic passing in a car accident in November 2005. The Foundation has now raised over £300,000 for sporting projects based across Bournemouth, Dorset and the South Coast. To date, over 200 projects covering over 300 sports and 4 continents have benefited.

In 2015, I cycled from ‘Rome to Home’ in Bournemouth for the Foundation – 1400 miles in 14 days and raised £30,000. The Bayeux ride will not be as long but will still represent a tough challenge.

Any donations will be gratefully received for this great local charity. To help me fundraise please visit my fundraising page by clicking here.

I specialise in dealing with cycle accident claims and helping cyclists recover from their injuries. If you need to speak to me please call me on 01202 057710 or send me an email enquiry.
