A trip through the countryside with Swanage Railway
On Sunday 19th October our staff brought guests along to journey from Swanage to Norden aboard the rare 'Devon Belle' Pullman observation car.
As part of our long-standing partnership with Swanage Railway, we get 25 tickets to join one of their railway experiences each year for our staff to bring along guests and learn more about the local rail system and meet people from across our offices. Our staff look forward to this event year on year and despite the wet weather, those who attended enjoyed the trip through the countryside between Swanage and Norden.

Our firm’s support for the railway since 2018 includes legal advice, business services and discounts for Swanage Railway team members. Our Swanage office is just a five-minute walk from Swanage station and lots of our staff use the railway service, so we have close ties with the charity.
Our partnership with Swanage Railway connects us to the local community in our aim to help preserve this cherished institution for future generations to come. Swanage Railway is one of Dorset’s top heritage tourism attractions, running a ten-mile steam railway line that connects Wareham, Corfe Castle and Swanage and generates a significant amount in annual tourism-related income for the Purbeck economy. We look forward to continuing our partnership and attending another railway experience next year.
