What to do if You’ve been Unfairly Dismissed
If you feel as though you have been unfairly dismissed by an employer, and have been under their employment for longer than two years, you may be in a position to bring an unfair dismissal claim against them, if you do so within three months, less a day, of the effective date of termination.
Having said that, before bringing a claim to the Employment Tribunal or court, we recommend trying to negotiate a settlement agreement with your employer to avoid proceedings and settle the dispute or disagreement without the need for legal action.
