Recent Work
- Identifying and rectifying problems with clients’ existing Wills including problems they did not know existed;
- Helping clients prepare Wills that reflect their personal values, protect their wealth for future generations, and ensure fairness across complex and blended family structures;
- Assisting with the administration of trusts including where the beneficiaries are vulnerable and face complex personal circumstances, ensuring their needs are met with compassion and care;
- Advising on, preparing, and registering Lasting Powers of Attorney;
- Preparing and advising on Deeds of Variation with a view to mitigating Inheritance Tax in the beneficiary’s Estate;
- Transferring equity in a property to claim back Higher Rate Stamp Duty Land Tax and mitigate their Income Tax liability; and
- Taking a holistic approach in all the above, carefully considering the broader context of my clients’ personal, financial, and familial circumstances.
