Medal success for cycle team

As one of the sponsors of Primera-TeamJobs cycling team, Ellis Jones is proud to share the success of one of the riders, Tom Temple.

On 1st September 2018, Tom competed in the Junior National 10 mile Time Trial Championships in Scotland. A wet day did not prevent Tom coming away with a podium finish and a bronze medal. His time of 19 minutes 48 seconds was an average speed of 30.30 mph. A phenomenal effort which brings Tom’s National medal tally this season to 3. He was presented with his medal by cycling legend, Graham Obree.

Back in August, Tom competed in the National Junior 25 mile Time Trial in South Wales. He came away with second pace and a silver medal with a time of 49 minutes 27 seconds with an average speed of 30.33mph. He finished only 6 seconds behind the winner.

As one of the sponsors of the team, Ellis Jones is extremely pleased with the team’s results this season and the success that they are having. As a keen cyclist, David McWilliam, Partner & Head of the Personal Injury Department, appreciates the hard work and training that has resulted in such success. Our relationship with Primera has gone from strength to strength and we will look to continue to support the team in the future.
