Ellis Jones Launches Poole HR Forum in partnership with Rubicon Recruitment
Rubicon and Ellis Jones Solicitors are delighted to have launched the new Poole HR Forum which took place on Tuesday 22nd January at Bournemouth and Poole College. This forum is a quarterly session for HR professionals to explore and discuss topics of interest within their field with other like-minded professionals. The sessions also include guest speakers who debate current HR, business and recruitment issues.
Our Partner and Solicitor Kate Brooks, along with specialist tribunal barristers, Matthew Curtis, Craig Ludlow and Colin McDevitt from 3PB, conducted a “Mock Employment Tribunal”.
During our first session, the speakers provided examples of documents that attendees could expect to see at an employment tribunal. This included a full description of the steps to take to prepare for a tribunal and a showcase of what it is like to be at a
real employment tribunal, including the cross examination of a witness.
Each of our HR Forum sessions will showcase a guest speaker discussing topical HR, Business and Recruitment issues followed by the opportunity for attendees to network with peers and share advice and best practices.
