Emily Shepard wins the Ellis Jones Wish

Our Trainee Solicitor, Emily Shepard, was one of our lucky Wish winners last year and put it towards an incredible trip to Athens.
I am so grateful to have won the Ellis Jones Wish at our firm Christmas party last year. I decided to put the prize money towards a trip to Athens, as I had wanted to visit the city since studying Ancient History as an undergraduate.
I had the most amazing 5-day trip which involved exploring the ancient Agora, climbing to the top of the Acropolis and standing beneath the Parthenon, taking a ferry to the beautiful, car-free island of Hydra, and watching the sunset at the Temple of Poseidon.
I feel so lucky and thankful to have won such a generous prize and to have been able to put it towards one of the most breath taking trips. I will never forget it!
