Ellis Jones Trekking for Julia’s House

At Ellis Jones, we value our local charities as well as the hard working staff in our firm. We do our best to not only give back to our community but to allow our staff members the opportunity to take part in some exciting challenges.

Over the months of May, June and July we have decided to support the renowned local charity Julia’s House.

Julia’s House was founded in 2003 in order to develop a ‘support network for families struggling to care for a life-limited child
without any help or respite’. The charity has since built a children’s hospice in both Dorset and Wiltshire and they continue to provide practical and emotional support for families caring for a child with a life-limiting or threatening condition. Read more about Julia’s House here.

This weekend Ellis Jones will be taking part in the Julia’s House Jurassic Coastal Trek on Sunday 10th June. The 13 mile trek
will take our team of 15 from Worth Matravers in Swanage along the south west coast path, finishing on the grounds of Harry Warren House, overlooking the stunning views of Old Harry Rocks and the sandy beaches of Studland. The trekking team will be congratulated after the day with a well deserved glass of bubbly and a hog roast. Click here to see more details about the challenge.

Our team of Ellis Jones Trekkers will be raising money in aid of Julia’s House with the total raised from the trek added to our quarterly fundraising amount. The entire firm will also be fundraising for the charity throughout the months of May, June and July on our monthly Ellis Jones Day! The total raised at the end of the quarter will then be matched by the firm – you can help us raise money for this fantastic cause by visiting our team’s Virgin Money Giving Page.
