My primary role is to assist Matthew Clake, Partner and Head of the Commercial Property department. I seek to provide clear and succinct advice in respect of both the legal merits and commerciality of each client’s matter. I strive to build trusting, long-lasting relationships with all clients and ensure that they receive a high quality service through the duration of their matter.
My Route to Ellis Jones
I undertook my undergraduate degree in Law at the University of Bournemouth, graduating with First Class Honours in 2018. Whilst in my third year of university, I completed a 9 month industry placement with a Local Authority in West Sussex. During this time, I assisted with all areas of local government work, including Licensing, Health and Safety prosecutions, and general Democratic Services.
Following completion of my undergraduate degree, I began working for a commercial law firm within the Corporate and Healthcare team, alongside studying the Legal Practice Course at Bournemouth University.
Prior to starting my Training Contract, I gained experience as a fee-earning Paralegal for 15 months within the Dispute Resolution team at Ellis Jones, specialising in Landlord and Tenant disputes, as well as all areas of Civil Litigation and Debt Recovery.
As part of my Training Contract with Ellis Jones, I have completed my first seat with the Dispute Resolution team, before moving to my second seat in Wills, Trusts and Probate in March 2021, and then to my final seat in Commercial Property based in the Ringwood Office. I hope to qualify as a Solicitor in March 2022.
