Introducing the Future Leaders Breakfast Club

The first Ellis Jones ‘Future Leaders Breakfast Club’ was held on Thursday 23rd May as a morning networking session for junior and mid level staff members in Bournemouth.

The need for the breakfast club was due to a lack of events in the Bournemouth area for junior and mid level staff to network, which is why our Business Services solicitor, Abigail Sinden, pitched the idea to create a ‘Future Leaders Breakfast Club’. Abi was assisted throughout the process by Maria Redman, Dispute Resolution solicitor.

The club is a unique breakfast event where attendees can network and benefit from a training workshop on soft skills, which will vary at each session. The aim for the breakfast club is to build strong business relationships at a junior level, so that as individuals progress up the career ladder they have a good network of professional contacts.

The first event began with a talk from Abi to introduce the new event. Our guest speaker for the session, Astrid Davies (Astrid Davies Consulting), followed this with an engaging talk on time management and prioritisation. The first session saw a fantastic turn out with attendees from varying professions.
