Ellis Jones proudly supports Lewis-Manning’s Make a Will Fortnight

From Monday 8th June to Friday 19th June our Private Client solicitors will be giving their time and expertise free of charge to clients who wish to participate in the Lewis-Manning Hospice Make a Will Fortnight. We encourage clients participating in the scheme to make a donation to the Hospice: any sum is welcome but suggested donations are £85 for a single Will and £120 for mirror Wills.

There is also no obligation to include Lewis-Manning Hospice in your Will itself, but if you choose to remember them with a gift, they would be very grateful.

Appointments during Make a Will Fortnight are limited so we encourage would-be participants not to delay in booking.

Lauren Day, Head of Private Client Department said “we are happy to support Lewis Manning this June. This is an excellent charity which has helped many people during their times of need by providing the highest level of nursing care. As a firm we are proud to support Lewis Manning and we look forward to this campaign raising funds to assist Lewis Manning in continuing their great work.”

Sally Goodenough, Legacies Fundraiser at Lewis-Manning Hospice said, “We are delighted that Ellis Jones is supporting the campaign. Writing a Will brings security and peace of mind, not just to you but also to your loved ones. If you need to write your Will or update your current one, taking part in Make A Will Fortnight will mean you’re also helping Lewis-Manning at the same time.”

In addition to all our day services, we also recently began the phased opening our bedrooms, offering short overnight and respite stays, vastly benefiting the growing number of patients and carers that rely on us for the help at a particularly distressing time. All our care and support is free, so we hope people take up this great opportunity to write a Will and help raise vital funds for the hospice.”

Lewis-Manning Hospice is a voluntary hospice that offers free specialist palliative nursing care to around 700 local people each year living with cancer and other life-limiting illnesses.
