How we are supporting you

We are keeping the situation under regular review by following Government guidance together with advice from the Health & Safety Executive and the Law Society. We have taken the necessary steps to ensure our offices are Covid-19 secure and can now offer meetings within our offices if required. You will find contact numbers for all members of staff under the “expert section” of our website. Alternatively, please call our main general number on 01202 525333.

In line with Government guidelines, we have completed risk assessments to ensure our offices are Covid-19 secure.

Guidance to clients attending our offices

As part of our commitment to the safety of our staff and clients, we are requesting all visitors to our offices complete a questionnaire before attending an appointment. A member of our staff will discuss the questionnaire with you at the time of arranging your appointment.

In the event you are simply dropping off paper work, you will not be required to complete a questionnaire and where possible please post paperwork through the letterbox.

To ensure the safety of all concerned it will be necessary for anyone attending a meeting to follow the guidance outlined below:

  1. To help reduce the number of people in our offices at any one time, we would ask that you do not come into the office unless you have a pre-arranged appointment as we may not be able to see you.
  2. In advance of any meeting, you will be asked to confirm that you and all members of your household/anyone with whom you are in a support bubble do not have any of the recognised symptoms of coronavirus, namely:
  • A temperature
  • A persistent cough; or
  • loss of smell or taste

We will not be able to see you if we consider that you are exhibiting symptoms of coronavirus and you will be asked to reschedule your appointment.

  1. Please arrive at our office at the exact time of your meeting to avoid unnecessary waiting. We will be ready to see you. Upon arrival at the office, please telephone our main switchboard number 01202 525333 to notify them of your arrival, at the same time notifying the location of your appointment.
  2. If you are attending the office to sign documentation, please remember to bring your own pen if at all possible.
  3. Upon entry to the building, please use the hand sanitiser which is available to you when you arrive and again when you leave our office.
  4. Social Distancing. All visitors are being asked to respect the latest UK government guidelines. This includes following the 1 meter plus social distancing guidelines.
  5. Our meeting areas are equipped with hand sanitiser and where necessary screens. In the event that you have any concerns, please feel free to discuss the proposed meeting arrangements with us in advance of you coming into our offices. We will endeavour to keep our meetings with you as short as possible and would request that you do the same.
  6. The Government guidance is still not clear about when you should wear a mask (although you need to wear them in shops from 24th July). If you feel more comfortable wearing a mask please bring one with you.

We have taken the necessary steps to follow the Government guidance to make our offices as safe as possible for you and our staff. We would ask you to respect the policies and procedures which we have put in place.
