My Marketing & Social Media Placement

My placement year at Ellis Jones has been much more than just shadowing colleagues and assisting with day to day activity. It was clear early on in my placement that I would be seen as a valued member of the Marketing team with my own projects and responsibilities, which lived up to my expectations of the Firm.

My role as Marketing and Social Media Assistant is much more than what my job title would suggest. I have been involved with blogging, public relations, advertising and the implementation of social media campaigns. I thoroughly enjoy the planning and organisation of events, both internal and external, which is something I did not expect to be assisting with. One of the
many benefits to working at Ellis Jones is that we are encouraged to step out of our comfort zones and are taught new transferable skills that are invaluable.

There have been many highlights from my time at Ellis Jones, and working with an expert team which are friendly and highly value team work has made the experience worth while. I have been given freedom and responsibility, and have expanded my knowledge in numerous areas within my role, which I look forward to showcasing on my CV.
