Your Approach:
Whilst at times it can be an emotional and difficult time for my clients, I pride myself in listening and offering advice; allaying fears in elderly and often confused clients and their families. I always make a point of building good relationships with clients and ensure that they always feel comfortable contacting me for even the smallest thing; my motto has always been build up their respect and trust and you have a client for life
Professional Associations & Qualifications:
- F.Inst.L.Ex and hopefully TEP by August this year
Your Route to Ellis Jones:
Usually down the Spur Road to Ashley Heath roundabout every morning at about 07.30… but seriously I joined the firm in 1997 originally as a temporary secretary for the matrimonial department. Somehow or other they asked if I would like to work for the then Partner for the Civil Litigation department at Charminster Road Office. The Partner in charge decided I was “fee earner” material and so the firm paid for my 4 years doing the Institute of Legal Executives exams. I became a Fellow in 2005 (no that does not mean everyone called me Stan!).
My expertise lay in the Private Client area and in 2001 I moved to the Ringwood Office to begin my new chapter with the firm.
Outside Work:
I live in Bournemouth with two cats one of whom has diabetes and is injected twice a day – however he still speaks to me and sheds his hair all over my clothing as often as he can.
I have always had a love of quizzes and have done many over the years. Currently I enjoy getting teams together from the Firm and leading them to victory where we can!
I also involve myself with the ILEX committee and also the local political party.
