Areas of Law:
I specialise in litigation primarily that which has connection with property, including Landlord and Tenant, building/construction claims, rights of way, covenants and matters relating to title. I also do professional negligence claims and general contract disputes.
Your Approach:
I like to offer my clients a pragmatic and commercial solution to their litigation problems. Litigation can be time consuming, and expensive, I do my best to work with my clients to minimise both. Litigation can also be very frightening and I like to be there for my clients, as much as possible during the demanding times. Beyond that however I enjoy the challenge of litigation and am very competitive.
Professional Associations & Qualifications:
I qualified as a solicitor in 1980. I am also a qualified CEDR mediator.
Your Route to Ellis Jones:
I joined Ellis Jones in 1988. I became a partner but for various reasons then left to rejoin in 2009
Outside Work:
I am married and between us we have four grown up children. I love sport and activity. “Work hard; play hard” is my motto to get the most out of life.
