Areas of Law:
Personal Injury, Medical Negligence (including cosmetic surgery claims), Dental Negligence and claims against the Ministry of Defence.
Your Approach:
I endeavour to provide a personal service with 110% commitment. I enjoy undertaking a mixed load of personal injury cases but have a particular interest in the more serious and complex claims. I aim to ensure that clients are properly looked after and their claims are pursued thoroughly and vigorously so as to provide the best possible service. I am happy to see clients in their own homes (if they so wish) and to keep clients fully informed as to progress of their cases.
I have enjoyed significant success over the years in some quite high value claims including in recent years three substantial claims (six figure claims) successfully concluded against the MOD with similar settlements achieved in respect of clinical negligence and accidents at work. I have had numerous letters of thanks and praise from many clients.
I appreciate and understand the litigation process can be a stressful process for clients and I see as a key part of my role the importance of communication with clients throughout the progress of their cases.

My Route to Ellis Jones:
I have acted in personal injury work since qualifying in 1980 and over the years have developed my expertise into different areas of practice including medical negligence, dental negligence and cosmetic surgery. I have developed claims against many Defendants including the Ministry of Defence and I am keen to develop this further. I was formerly a partner in my own firm, the practice developed through a series of mergers and amalgamation. I joined Ellis Jones approximately 11 years ago.
Outside Work:
I am married with two daughters, both of whom are now adult. My wife is a teacher. We live in the Dorset countryside and both enjoy gardening. I enjoy watching rugby (I no longer play), sailing and family life.
