Employment tribunal litigation to include unfair dismissal, wrongful dismissal, discrimination (claims for direct or indirect discrimination, victimisation or harassment in relation to age, sex, sexual orientation, race, religion or belief, disability, gender reassignment, marital or civil partnership status, pregnancy or maternity), equal pay, part-time or fixed term worker status, unauthorised deductions from wages, Working Time Regulations, breach of contract, Transfer of Undertakings (Protection of Employment) Regulations (TUPE).
Non contentious issues such as preparing staff documents i.e. contracts and policies and procedures, compromise agreements and advising on post termination clauses (restrictive covenants).

Your Route to Ellis Jones:
I studied law at Bournemouth University, which included a placement year in a family law firm in London. I completed my Legal Practice Course at Guildford College of Law and then commenced my training contract at Ellis Jones in September 2009.
Outside Work:
Having grown up in Poole, next to the coast, I take part in a range of water sports.
I also get involved in a variety of sporting events for charity, to include the Bournemouth to Boscombe Pier to Pier swim and Round Poole Harbour cycle ride.
