New appointment strengthens Canford Cliffs property team

ELLIS Jones has strengthened the property team at its Canford Cliffs office in Poole with the appointment of solicitor James Kidner.

He joins the experienced seven-strong team from another Dorset law firm where he trained and qualified as a solicitor.

A former Bournemouth School pupil, James holds a BA (Hons) degree in business with marketing from Westminster University and later converted to law at Bournemouth University.

Hayley Tilsed has also joined the team at Canford Cliffs as a PA while Jill Hope has returned as a receptionist.

James said: ““To be offered such a great opportunity in the height of what is a particularly challenging market is a great honour.

“Canford Cliffs office has amassed an enviable client base over the years and the team continue to take on more and more work in all parts of the property market.

“Encouragingly, it is the property development side of the business that is growing. It remains to be seen what the market will do over the next five years, but in this office we are so far hitting the targets we have set and have ambitious plans for 2012 and beyond.”

Nigel Smith, Ellis Jones’ Managing Partner, described James as “a great signing.”

He added: “James is a skilled property solicitor who brings dynamism, enthusiasm and experience to the role. We’re delighted to welcome him to our team.”
