ELLIS Jones Solicitors is celebrating a double success.
The Dorset and New Forest law firm has been awarded the coveted Lexcel quality mark for the eighth year running.
Lexcel is awarded to solicitors who meet the highest management and customer care standards.
Less than one in ten of the approximately 10,000 law firms across England and Wales have achieved the coveted mark.
Ellis Jones has also been re-awarded Investor in People (IiP) standard, the UK’s leading people management quality standard.
It means the law firm, which employs more than 80 staff and has offices in Bournemouth, Canford Cliffs, Ringwood and Swanage, can now boast 18 years of unbroken IiP status.
Nigel Smith, Managing Partner, said: “These are both highly prized standards and we’re absolutely delighted to receive them again.
“The Lexcel mark, in particular, is formal recognition of the way in which we work and is the result of rigorous assessment.
“It’s a real credit to the team and, on behalf of my fellow partners, I congratulate them on these achievements.”
Linda Lee, President of the Law Society of England and Wales, said: "Ellis Jones's achievement of gaining Lexcel accreditation proves a commitment to the continual development of the practice's management standards.
“By implementing policies, plans, processes and procedures within Lexcel's key areas, such as client service and risk management, Ellis Jones will become even more effective in managing their practice.
“In addition, this achievement shows the positive steps taken by Ellis Jones to help clients in the increasingly diverse, complicated and competitive legal market."
