Law firm launches innovative ClearTalk legal advice service

A NEW fixed price advice service for businesses is being hailed as ‘an innovative way forward’ for the legal profession.

Ellis Jones Solicitors launched the service, called ClearTalk, at a reception at AFC Bournemouth.

The Dorset and New Forest law firm claims the retainer service represents a new way to get legal advice when it is needed.

Businesses can sign up for one of four flexible options – silver, gold, platinum and diamond – from as little as £100 a month plus VAT.

Depending on the level of cover, ClearTalk corporate subscribers can receive a minimum level of advice each month as well as the review and drafting of legal documents and visits to their premises.

The initiative is one of the first to be launched since Dr Dave Richards joined Ellis Jones as Chief Executive in August.

Among his early actions was to bring all Ellis Jones’ business law services under one department.

The 15-strong team is based at the law firm’s Charminster office and deals with civil litigation, company commercial and employment issues.

Dr Dave said: “ClearTalk is legal advice on tap. Business clients can get whatever help is needed, whenever and wherever required, without an appointment. Transparent, predictable fees will help businesses plan with certainty.

“Standing still is never an option for businesses and that goes for law firms as well. We believe ClearTalk is an inspired legal solution and demonstrates our determination to focus relentlessly on providing client value.”
