PERSONAL injury specialist David McWilliam has been accredited at senior litigator level with the Association of Personal Injury Lawyers (APIL).
The not-for-profit organisation fights for the rights of injured people. Securing APIL accreditation means David, who is Ellis Jones Solicitors’ Head of Personal Injury Department, has achieved a required standard of expertise and competence.
Senior litigators are APIL accredited members handling their own personal injury caseload. They enjoy significant autonomy and are willing to take cases through to trial at court, fighting for the rights of injured people.
A keen sportsman, David deals with all accident claims including road traffic accidents, trip and slips, employers’ liability and has a special interest in sporting accidents. He is a keen triathlete and has acted for many cyclists and triathletes.
David joined Ellis Jones in 1995 as a trainee Solicitor and qualified in 1997. He was made an Associate in January 2003 and Head of Personal Injury Department four years later.
