A four-strong team from Ellis Jones Solicitors won the Bournemouth and District Institute of Legal Executives (ILEX) quiz.
Their victory, at the Royal Motor Yacht Club in Sandbanks, came hot on the heels of winning the Oakdene Cup, the bi-annual charity quiz organised by Shorefield Holidays.
Legal Executive Sharala Lowe, who works at Ellis Jones’ Ringwood office, said: “This year marks the 80th anniversary of the Bournemouth & District branch of ILEX which makes our success extra special.
“Ten teams took part in this year’s quiz but I think it’s fair to say we wiped the board. It’s the third time in recent years that we’ve won the general knowledge quiz so we’re pretty pleased.”
Apart from Sharala other members of the successful Ellis Jones’ ILEX team were Matthew Clake, Paul Dyer and Pam Brannan. The quiz raised £500 for Bournemouth Women’s Refuge.
