Deborah joined Sean at Ellis Jones in 2001, having practised exclusively as a family lawyer with Payne Hicks Beach and Hughes Fowler Carruthers in Central London. She was admitted as a solicitor in 1990 and is an accredited family lawyer specialising in complex and high value cases and matrimonial disputes over pensions. Deborah is a multi-faceted family lawyer who is also a Resolution trained family mediator.

She is one of a small number of qualified collaborative lawyers in the South West, who can offer alternative dispute resolution using mediation with legal advice. She is first and foremost a highly experienced and effective family litigator, but one who also has a progressive and creative approach to settling cases. She is well known for her handling of complex and seemingly intractable disputes.
