My mother is getting very forgetful. What can I do to help her with her finances?

If she hasn't already made an Enduring Power of Attorney (EPA) or Lasting Power of Attorney (LPA), get her to see a solicitor about making an LPA now! If she's not able to understand what she's doing, an LPA may not be possible and you may need to apply to the Court of Protection to be made her Deputy. If you already have an EPA or LPA for her, you need to apply to the Court of Protection to get it 'registered'. We can help with all these things.
