Criminal Assault Claims

If you have been injured as a result of a criminal assault, you may be able to claim personal injury compensation.

Our dedicated team helps clients pursue claims through the Criminal Injuries Compensation Authority (CICA).  This body was created to administer the Criminal Injuries Compensation Scheme and pay compensation to eligible applicants who have been the victim of a violent crime.

You should ensure that the incident is reported to the police within 48 hours if possible.  An application to the CICA will need to be submitted within 2 years from the date of the incident causing the injury.
