Staff at law firm throw on jeans for worthy cause
STAFF at Ellis Jones Solicitors threw on their jeans today (October 2) when they took part in the annual ‘Jeans for Genes’ appeal.
The Dorset and New Forest law firm joined companies and organisations across the UK in encouraging staff to wear denim for the day.
In return, donations were collected which will go towards funding pioneering research and vital support for children affected by genetic disorders.
Among the people taking part was Nigel Smith, Managing Partner, who said that all five of Ellis Jones’ offices in Bournemouth, Canford Cliffs, Ringwood and Swanage had taken part.
“It’s a chance to raise money for a very worthy cause,” he added.
2009 is the event’s 14th year. The charity has raised more than £32 million to date.
